A few weeks ago I was gifted a FaceFX anti-aging device and have been hooked on ironing away my wrinkles ever since.
I know what you’re thinking…
“Mely, you’re so young and vivacious! Surely a woman like you doesn’t have to worry about anti-aging treatments?”
Truth is, even my deal with the bacon-devil has not left me wrinkle-free.
Case in point:
When I turned thirty several years ago, I looked at myself in the mirror and decided the wrinkles on my forehead made me look uber old. So what did I do? I grabbed a pair of scissors and gave myself an Umma Thurman circa Pulp Fiction set of bangs and rocked those babies for nearly a year before I realized how dumb I looked.
But I digress.
My point is I couldn’t sport bangs for the rest of my life just because of the wrinkles on my forehead. While I remain somewhat self-conscious about them, somewhere along the line I decided to give up the bangs and face the fact that wrinkles are simply what happen when you hit your thirties.
If I was rich I certainly could’ve opted for Botox or some high-end spa treatments to reduce their appearance, but as a single mom I’m not. I pretty much figured admitting defeat was the answer until FaceFX stepped in and gave me hope that I might be able to banish my laugh lines to a land far far away.
What is FaceFX?
FaceFX is a revolutionary new anti-aging device created by Silk’n. It not only reduces fine lines and wrinkles, but it also improves skin texture, fades the appearance of dark skin patches and reduces pore size.
Basically it’s like having a whole team of skin care professionals in a flashlight sized magic wand.
Forget those expensive high-end facial creams, professional laser treatments and facials, FaceFX is an affordable solution to anti-aging treatments.
The device uses a revolutionary new approach: Home Fractional Technology – a safe and effective manner to provide stimulation of heat and light energy to the multiple layers of your skin, without high levels of discomfort, making it a pain-free alternative to Botox or surgery.
The Active HF targets the top layer of your skin to address fine lines and pores, leading to texture improvements. The Deep HF penetrates deeper into the skin to address larger wrinkles and discolored spots. By fractionating the energy FaceFX is able to penetrate deeper into the skin without discomfort.
Not only is FaceFX pain free, it’s also simple to use in the comfort of your own home, whenever the time is right for you. For the first month users are advised to use FaceFX 3 times a week, and once a week thereafter for maintenance. Each treatment session lasts about 15 minutes as you gently glide the FaceFX device over your trouble spots and iron away wrinkles with its addicting warming sensation.

I’ve been consistently using the FaceFX device for two weeks now and while the wrinkles on my forehead haven’t completely disappeared I’ve definitely seen an improvement in them as well as the overall appearance of my skin.
And this single mom absolutely loves having an excuse to take 15 minutes, three nights a week, to pamper myself with the device. The warming sensation is ridiculously relaxing and makes me feel like I’m at my very own spa.
That’s when I’m not prying the device from my mother’s hands. No lie, she too has become addicted to relaxing with the FaceFX anti-aging device as she watches TV at night. Can’t watch “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and pamper your skin at the spa!
